I really enjoyed this last year. They recently announced the dates so I wanted to see if anyone was interested. I'll go down the evening of 9/16, and come back 9/19 or 9/20. I'll be volunteering 9/17-9/19, which may be long days. I'll probably camp at a nearby campsite, unless enough people want to go in on renting a house.
They always need good radio operators if anyone wants to volunteer. If you want to go, you can also just hang out with me instead of dedicating the whole day to volunteering.
It's a cool experience, because the safety protocols on the course and coordinating of roughly 50 different radio operators spread across 30 or so miles of course. I used a dual band mobile and a 4ft fiberglass antenna on a tripod.
