Attached is a press release from the Deep Space Exploration Society and the team at K0PRT. After responding to an RFI, DSES has been selected by NASA to monitor the carrier from the Orion space capsule as it travels from the earth around the moon.
We will be monitoring the Orion space craft carrier signal on 2.2 GHz using our 60 foot radio telescope near Haswell, CO. If you want to copy their carrier, I can share that frequency once we confirm the launch timing. Let me know if you have any questions.
Possible launch windows (mission goes for 10 days after launch):
February 6, 7, 8, 10 & 11
March 6, 7, 8, 9, & 11
April 1, 3, 4, 5 & 6
