May-June Monitor - MARA, PVARC, VARA

Since I have not had time to set up the mailing list to the MARA, VARA, and PVARC members, I am posting the May-June issue of the Monitor (the joint three-club  newsletter) here for your enjoyment.

Those who are not members of one of the clubs, please accept this complementary issue as an invitation to join the club of your choice, to receive this newsletter every month (well, ALMOST every month).  It's a nice supplement to the valleyhams group, keeping you posted on the happenings in the local ham radio scene, and more importantly, providing an archive for historical record of our activities, club minutes, and other news.

Highlights from this month's issue:

Camping reservations are required for those planning to camp at the MARA/VARA Field Day site in Stokesville this year (see page 3).

The MARA/VARA Field Day spreadsheet is found on pages 4-5.

There are several for-sale items, plus some official contest results for some 2017 contests where local hams "made good". 

This month's issue is dedicated to John Spillman, KT4CB.

Suggestions and Submissions to the Monitor are always appreciated.  If you have something you'd like to put in next month's issue, please get it to me via email no later than June 20.
