Good Morning All,

I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend. I was reaching out to see if anyone had a 10 meter vertical antenna laying around that they would be interested in parting ways with. Please reach out if you do as I would love to take one of somones hands.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Tim,
There is a CB antenna thats a vertical with 4 radials.
Benn up for the 12 years we have been here.
I stopped and asked the owner if its up for grabs and he said take it.
Would that "sort of" work on 10 meters ?

It will likely need to be retuned. Once you get it down, measure the length of the vertical part of the radiator and let me know what you find. Typical antennas were 1/4 or 5/8 wavelength. If it's 5/8, in addition to reducing the length of the radiator, there's a matching network at the feed point which will also need to be adjusted. Glad to help if you need it.

I've seen it forever on a pole slanting off on a list.
i always wondered if it was a viable ant for someone interested in10 meters
That said, forget it

Maybe use a Nano VNA to tune it?
