Hello All!!!

Well it's that time of the year again. Time to start getting ready for the Mountain Mama Road Bike Challenge and as always, we could sure use yall's help again!!

I know 2021 was a good year with the restart of "normal life", but I want to send ALL who have helped again with a VERY BIG THANK YOU for your dedication. As always your help was very much appreciated by the riders, Recreation Commission Staff as well as Jerry and myself.

ALL of the comments that we heard again in 2021 were, as always, followed by a big "THANK YOU!!"

THIS year the ride will be Saturday AUG. 6, 2022

Anyone interested in helping this year PLEASE think about it and let Jerry WD4ITN or myself N5SMQ know.

This email list includes all of the "tentative Yes's" from earlier this year and the Valley Hams list. If this missed anyone that might want to help this year, please pass this email on to them so they can respond to me.

More reminder emails with more information will be sent out as the time gets closer.

Thanks for your help in the past!! We look forward to seeing y'all again or for the first time!!

I'm putting it on my calendar for another tentative yes (wasn't able to make it last year)

I've done the fall bike ride several times but have not participated in Mountain Momma.

I'm not sure if it will be in range but I have a 50 watt GMRS repeater on Elliott Knob that I (we) can monitor if any participants in the ride are licensed and wish to use. I'll offer that as backup communication that the riders could use, as well as us.

I'll confirm my participation as the event draws closer.

Does anyone know which repeaters will be in use for the Mountain Mama Road Bike Challenge next weekend?

I'm riding the 56 mile loop through Sugar Grove and back to Monterey, and would like to know how to contact the support group if necessary.

I will be sending out the final email this evening if I get a chance or Sunday evening that will include all frequencies needed for the ride. 

I’m just wanting to get confirmation on a couple of them before sending it.
