Relevant to my presentation on Tuesday, there will be a very good pass of the International Space Station shortly before the meeting. I will have my HT and Arrow II antenna ready in the PVCC parking lot at 6:15 pm tomorrow before the meeting in order to hopefully make one or more satellite contacts. The pass will take place from 6:20 to 6:30, with the ISS visible in the sky for the first half of the pass, clouds permitting. Hope to see you there!

The Albemarle Amateur Radio Club monthly membership meeting is this Tuesday, November 11th. It will be held in-person in Room 835 at Piedmont Virginia Community College (PVCC) at 7 pm.

The room is located on the upper floor of the Technology Wing (building 800), with free parking available in the South Parking Lot.  A map of PVCC is available at: https://www.albemarleradio.org/2024/02/12/aarc-monthly-meeting/  Members are encouraged to attend in person if at all possible.

Pete Francisco (K4RKE) will be presenting on getting started with making satellite contacts.
