MARA has some WIRES-X nets on the 444.600 repeater. They are
there as a service to the ham community, please feel free to join in or
listen in if you like. Sorry, but because of the way we are getting the
nets on the repeater they have to be in digital mode (C4FM or System
Fusion, pick your name). Please note that because of outside circumstances
there may be occasions when the nets will not be on the repeater.

Sunday
     8:00 pm: Keystone Wide Net
     8:30 pm: Ohio Net
     9:30 pm: Southern Minnesota Net

Monday
8:30 pm: Fusion Tech Net, a Q&A net, mainly about Yaesu System
              Fusion and WIRES-X

Tuesday
10:00 am: Second Cup of Coffee Net
     7:00 pm: West Michigan Net

Wednesday
9:00 pm: Colorado Digital Learning Net, mainly informative net
              about Hot Spots

Thursday

9:00 pm: Kansas City Wide Digital Net, informative net about all
              digital modes.

Friday

Page Valley Amateur Radio Club offers analog nets on Sunday evenings at 20:00 local time.

Would there be an interest in having a Wires-X or C4FM net following our regular net? If so, how often?

Hi Elijah,

I just wanted to reply to your question about what is Wires-X. There continues to be a misconception as to what exactly the difference is between Wires-X, System Fusion and C4FM, just remember, they are indeed three separate words for three separate things, they are not all the same thing. I’ve taught several classes on this exact subject, and I have even put together a YouTube video on my YouTube channel which you might find very informative, please check it out.
