Field Day Phone and Digital Station Operators

     It's that time of year when we start the signups for Field Day Operators.  I wanted to help out with Phone signups.  Currently we don't have anyone except for Burley and myself signed up for Phone and Digital.  I've attached a combined schedule.

     If you only have a Technician class license you can still operate, we will have some General and Extra class operators around.  Logging for the phone station is always a good way to get involved and learn how things are done.

    We need Phone station Operators and Loggers.  Operators will be making contacts and operating the radio, loggers will help out the Operator by logging the contact.  If you're interested, just let me know what times work for you.

    We need Digital operators, I have myself down in a couple spots, but I'm more than happy to have help.  We mainly make contacts on FT8 and FT4 with WSJTX.  If you're interested, just let me know what times work for you.  

     If you want to learn how to use WSJTX, let me know. I'm more than happy to show you how to make contacts.  It's easier once the radio is set up and working.

     If you're new and want some orientation, let me know when you sign up.  If needed and we have the time we can set up an orientation.

I was checking the stats from last year, so I thought I'd share with everyone.

I uploaded our logs to Qscope.org, and it broke it down.  I took that and put it all in one spreadsheet.  They break it down in some interesting ways.  I was talking to @Steer, Bob - N1QEQ about past logs and I found Qscope to break everything down.
