For the past several months the 444.600 repeater has had some nets on
using WIRES-X. In order to be able to benefit from this you have to use
an Yeasu System Fusion radio. We have been looking at how to provide
access to WIRES-X using any analog FM radio. We are considering using a
microwave link using the 5.4GHz wifi band. At this time, considering
the time and expense involved to purchase and install the equipment, we
want to know if there is enough interest to justify doing it.
If you are interested, please take the time to respond to the following
questions:
1. Do you have a Yeasu System Fusion radio that can access the repeater?
2. If yes, have you been listening to the nets presently on the repeater?
3. If yes, do you have any suggestions for changes to what is on the
repeater?
4. Would you use the system in analog mode if were available?
5. An unrelated question, just out of curiosity, do you have and use a
hotspot?
6. Feel free to ask questions and make any comments you may have.
Please send your response to me at

not respond to the group. There is no reason to send your response to
those that are not interested.
Thanks for taking the time to read and respond to this message.
