Launched 1/9/14 with a foundation of Boston-area independent college
radio stations, we passed 200 "likes" in under two weeks. To include
additional New England... independent college and community stations,
"Boston-area Independent College Radio" is now "New England
Independent College and Community Radio".
We invite producer/hosts from all New England independent college and
community radio stations to share news of their programs and stations.
HELP BUILD THIS COMMUNITY!
Community and independent college are types of radio service that
offer a third model of radio broadcasting beyond commercial and
public. Community and independent college stations serve geographic
communities and communities of interest. They broadcast content that
is popular to a local/specific audience but which may often be
overlooked by commercial/mass-media and so-called "public"
broadcasters.

(soon changing to
https://www.facebook.com/pages/neiccr) is your one
place to go to connect with what is happeing on the independent
student airwaves, web streams and podcasts.
If you produce/host a New England independent college or community
radio program or are involved in station management...
1. Share program information (guests, themes, specials, etc.).
2. Share station news (lremote broadcasts, programming changes,
communitee meetings, station benefits, calls for volunteers, etc.).
3. Grow program and station listenership.
4. Save New England from mainstream corporate commercual and so-called
"public" radio!
...or would you rather all radio be controlled by Clearchannel and NPR?
Producer/hosts and station management are invited to be content
creators. Please send a message via the page. Who is on board? See
