Is there any interest of members to attend this? I’ve gone the last couple years but there was only me. This is a good opportunity to get our name out to younger people as well as all the organizations that assist disabled persons.

Disability Services & Programs for Students (DSPS) at Sacramento City College is gearing up for our annual Disability Awareness Day, which is an annual event put on to educate Sacramento City College and the local surrounding communities about the various disability services.  We would like to invite your organization to participate in Disability Awareness Day 2014 on Thursday April 10, 2014 from 10:00am to 2:00pm at Sacramento City College.  Disability Awareness Day is a huge event with over 500-700 students, faculty, and administrators in attendance.

 

Disability Awareness Day is a free event and there is no cost to participate.  Table/chairs and parking passes for vendors will be provided by the DSPS.  If your organization would like to participate, please RSVP to this email with the following information by March 30,2014:

 

·         # of Staff coming to event

·         # of Table/chairs needed

·         Special accommodation if any
