முழவு என்னும் சொல்லின் உற்பத்தி

பழனி> ஒரு கேள்வி:  முழவு (பொருள் முரசு) என்ற சொல்லை எப்படிப் பகுக்கலாம்

நல்ல வினா. முழ்-/முள்- என்பது கோல், அம்பு போன்றவற்றின் அடிப்படைச் சொல். வில்லில் கோக்கும் அம்புக்கே ‘கோல்’ என்ற பெயர் உண்டு. வில் = சாபம் என வடமொழியில் ஒரு பெயர். சாய்ப்பது எனப் பொருள். சாபம்/சாவம். சாய்வது என்பதில் இருந்து சவம்/ஶவம் என்ற வடமொழி வார்த்தை உருவாகிற்று என்பர் ஸம்ஸ்கிருத மொழியியலார் (உ-ம்: பேரா. மைக்கேல் விட்சல், ஹார்வர்ட் பல்கலை).

முழ்-/முள்- தாதுவேரினின்றும் உருவாவது முழம். ஓர் அளவை, முழங்கை நீளம். கோல் கொண்டு அடிப்பது முழக்கு/முழங்கு. எனவே, முழா. முழவு.
கலூழ்- கலூஷ என வடமொழியில் திரியும். காவேரி டெல்ட்டா மாவட்டங்களில் திருவிழா திருவிஷா என ஆகும். (அ.மு.ப.) சூரியன் ஒவ்வொரு ராசியிலும் விழுவது, விஷு என வரும். முழ்-/முள்- முழிகி/முளிகி தொல்திராவிட பாஷையில் ‘அம்பு’. முழிகி/முளிநாடு தெலுங்கிலே முலிகிநாடு. இது  baaNa-raaSTram/vaaNa-raaSTram என வடமொழியிலே பெயர்க்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. வட தெக்காணப் ப்ரதேசம். வாணர்கள் வடக்கே இருந்து தமிழ்நாட்டை அடைந்த வீரர்குடியினர். பங்கு தமிழ்நாட்டு வரலாற்றில் பெரிது.
