Tamil Nadu - The land of Periyar daaw!!!

The first reason for this is post is that during recent times I noticed how plenty of DMK boys and several right wingers go on claiming how Tamil Nadu is the land of Periyar. This cannot be farther from the Truth.
EV Ramasamy Naicker aka Periyar was always a petty man right from his birth. He was a senile old fool. He became famous only because Anna. Today even Stalin doesn't follow EVR except giving lip-service occasionally.
The truth of matter is that Periyar was becoming irrelevant fast and would have faded away into dust if not for Karunanidhi. Back in the 1980s Karunanidhi was losing election after election, despite begging passionately to the people of Tamil Nadu. MGR had hijacked the Dravida political movement and was widely viewed as Anna's political heir. Karunanidhi in a bid to come back to prominence started using Periyar's name. Since then Periyar's original ideologies were diluted to make way for DMK corruption, family politics and minority appeasement. And finally today his irrelevant ideology has been buried properly with the news that Stalin gave permission for 'Pattina Pravesham'.
Ironical isn't it? Annamalai calling himself Black Dravidian and Stalin allowing Hindu practices which are considered regressive, I guess Sanghi Stalin would be more a appropriate name. This what makes me appreciate Modi and Yogi more, they are unapologetic about their beliefs and ideologies.
The second reason for this post is that True Indology seems angry at Tamils for some reason and is resorting to making racist remarks against us. It appears he/she read some non-sense from fringe Dravida groups and got fed up. Face it buddy - calling us Dumeels and asking us to jump into the sea is not going make us like you any better.

Below are some reasons why Tamil Nadu is not the land of EVR.
1) Dravidian parties may be mainstream but their ideas are not. And literally no one follows Periyar. The below is a image of a rally by Periyar followers near my home. See the huge crowds? This is the real extent of Periyarism in Tamil Nadu. There may be around 10000 followers across Tamil nadu, and about half of them whining on their quora safe space.
2) Contrary to this, around 25000 people visited Ramanathapuram temple in single day. This simply proves that Tamil Nadu is truely the land of Bhakti as it has always been. Every temple I visit is full of devout followers.
3) Only Periyar boys obsessed with Brahmins claim themselves to be Ravanan (I guess because he is a brahmin). Well some inferiority complexes do take time to heal, and probably when such folks come of age - they will find better things to do. Most Tamil Hindus don't pay attention to such non-sense.
4) The reason DMK is able to win few elections is because of the absence of strong opposition leaders in the state. Once DMK loses power which it will - thanks to Udayanidhi Stalin, Periyar idealogies will fade away into the dust.
5) Most of the online Periyar followers are likely trolls paid to spread their propaganda, contrary to that of practicing Hindus like me who are middle class with real responsibilities (Single earner for a family of six). So we cannot afford to be as loud as them on a daily basis.
I guess another thing is non-Tamil Right wingers (including True Indology) may have been pissed off (rightfully so) is about the likes of Miss AV. Let me tell you - Ambika (who hereby I will refer to as Baby Wawa) - is a very fine specimen of what a jobless privileged dolt looks like (May Jesus have mercy on her soul). While she writes sensible stuff at times and definitely has great writing skills, much of her content is pure non-sense and not relevant at all. Think about it - what do we really benefit from whining non-stop about some random thing that happened in some random past? She simply serves to stir the pot.
Tamils are as much as if not more religious than Hindus from other states. Please don't resort to attacking Tamilians just because loud idiots like Baby Wawa spread non-sense.
Finally as my father often says பெரியராவது புடலங்காவது!! Tamil Nadu is always the land of Bhakti!! Good day.
