Hi,
I have configured External Tool Widget from the Remote Plugin. I want to see the widget on the course Home page.
However when I click on Course , another widget which is configured is displayed by default. Is there a way we can have two widgets on course home ?

If not then how i can override it at course level ?

Hi Vinod

One thing to check is whether you configured that widget with the appropriate permissions to make it available to that course. For example, if you enabled it for a Department, you also have to enable it for Descendants of that Department.

Yes I did that . But still I am seeing the old Widget . Any idea if we can have multiple widget for a single course ?

I believe you should be able to have multiple widgets on a homepage, but this depends on two factors:

- What widgets are available to the Org Unit to be placed on a homepage

- The homepage design that defines the placement of tool and widget elements

When you proceed to Edit A Course, one of the tools in the Site Setup group is the 'Homepages' tool. Choose to create or edit a homepage belonging to the org unit in question. This let's you choose the page layout and place widgets within the layout packer. If your new widget has been made available to the org unit you're in, then you should see it as available when you choose to "Add Widgets" to the page.
