Getting course content

Hi all,

I've received a request from a department to automate retrieving course syllabi from D2L course content pages. Looking over the API, it looks doable--with some standards in place. I'm thinking it will work easiest requiring the instructors in the designated college to create a module named syllabus to aid in finding the relevant file. 

In my test run to see if this would work, I was able to use the table of contents route and from the return grab the URL of a course syllabus. I tried using the URL to download the document, but couldn't get it to work properly--the error on the Mac I was using to open it included several missing CSS files. I'm working on another project at the moment, so I'm not debugging this too heavily right now.

I do want to know, please, if anyone is currently using the API to get files from course content.
