Gradebook Synchronization not adding to D2L gradebook

Hi,

We're using a demo D2L instance to test out LTI integrations with Pathbrite and D2L.  Here is our current D2L instance version info:  http://d.pr/i/396u

We're getting a successful response back from D2L of "1" (success) that the grades were sent over to D2L correctly, but grades are not being added to the D2L gradebook.  Is there a known gradebook sync issue currently?

Hi Joel

I passed this question along to some folks internally, and the first thing that came to mind was whether this was an conflict between http vs https. Are you sending the data over https, or is your app attempting to use http for the LTI Grade Return instead? That would cause an OAuth authentication failure, preventing the successful transfer of the grades data.

When you say that you are receiving a response of "1" are you also receiving an XML response containing the grades data?

Here is the dump of url and typical success response from Desire2Learn:

- when we send grade to D2L we use this url: "https://pathbrite.desire2learndemo.com/d2l/le/lti/Outcome"
