Retrieve competency data using Valence

We would like to create a synthesized report of competency performance for an entire class.  Is it possible to retrieve competency information by user using the Valence API?  The Competency objects and actions seem very limited in the reference, so I'm curious whether there's a different approach to retrieving this data.

Competency APIs are currently limited to browsing the Learning Objective/Competency tree for an org unit. At this point, functionality around student achievement is not available thru the API. 

I highly recommend that you make this suggestion in the Product Idea Exchange (you or someone with an account for the old Community site can log in to make that suggestion) and then share the link here on the ValenceUsers forum so that others can help upvote it.
