Dear Members,

  1. The hearing of our case before the Supreme Court could not take place today. We would know the next date of hearing hopefully before the end of this week.
  2. I  visited Delhi on 29th August, 2011 with an intention to collect the Investigation Report of SFIO (200 pages + 2,300 pages of annexures), hand over the main report to our advocate and discuss the relevance of the same for our case before the Supreme Court. I could get almost 1 1/2 hours of time  with our advocate-yesterday- and he intends to submit the SFIO Investigation Report to the Supreme Court after discussing with the Senior Counsel who would represent our case. He thinks that SFIO report could further strengthen our case.
  3. In case, any of you intends -  to go through the scanned copy of the main report of 200 pages, (almost 9 MB Zip folder), please send me an e-mail from your gmail account to ravindr...@gmail.com so that I could send the zip folder to you.
  4. I am not happy with the SFIO Investigation Report though there are many charges under the Indian Penal Code. Our association may file our objections to the issues not taken up by the SFIO and request them to revise the port after incorporating some of the serious matters ignored by them - as of now.
  5. Draft of the letter written to the Governor of Karnataka is enclosed along with this e-mail - which highlights about the main charges.
With best regards,
ravi
