Somewhat good news! Our Supreme Court cases appear in terminal list Inbox

Hi all,

I spoke to our supreme court advocate Ankur Kulkarni today to enquire about the status of our cases against Megacity. He shared that our cases appear in the Terminal List for the year 2014-15 - which means that there is 100% probability of our cases being heard during 2014-15. He also shared that we would be in a position to know the bench before which our case would come up.

It is also relevant to note that Senior Counsel who represented our case was Ranajit Kumar who happens to be the Solicitor General now. (He represented us 2-3 times whenever earlier Special Leave Petitions were heard)

I also enquired regarding the need for looking out for a new Senior Counsel because of the changed situation. He shared that - it would be done once we know the names of the judges on the bench.

We shall hope that the matter would be sorted out at least before March, 2015.
