Megacity has sent vague letters- do not respond

Dear members, 

We understand from a few members that Megacity company has sent vague letters to Vajragiri scheme members to give PAN no., bank details, handover copies of all receipts to them to facilitate transfer of money to the respective accounts without giving any order reference, principal amount due and interest amount. 

 

Our Vice President Dr Prasanna Kumar and Secretary Sri Nanjundaiah have already given the total amount payable as per court orders for 175 persons( just the total and not the working per individual). They are waiting for feedback from Megacity as how this would go forward! In the meanwhile this development has happened. 

We are sending out letters to all the concerned members by speed post not to respond until further information from our association. Please do not respond until you know what amount you would get in writing. If any of you respond without this clarity, association would not be responsible.

PS: I understand that these kind of letters are sent only for about 65 members as of now...

even my mother Smt Usha N S has also received such mail from megacity developers.

Thanks for informing. As you mentioned, we will not be responding to this mail .

What ever is the action / process let it happen only through the Association.

Otherwise he will split us give some amount to some and delay for others finally ending up the matter in Court again.

I got a similar letter from Megacity Developers through Reg post,acknowledgement due,yesterday asking for address proof,PAN,Bank a/c details with cancelled cheque,copies of payment receipts and agreement entered into with Megacity. I Request Sri Ravindra Beleyur to respond to all members

We are informing all members - not to respond for the letters until further notice from our association and we shall send detailed action plan in 1-2 weeks.

Dear Dr. Vidyashankar,

Your observation is correct. After collecting the total amount to be paid to all our members(where the cases have been decided and Supreme Court has dismissed the cases) from our association, sharing that there would be a meeting with the association to pay without having to go through he courts for execution, Megacity company has sent these kind of letters. Possibly the idea could be - if anybody gives the details of bank account blindly - they may intend to transfer some amounts as per their fancy and if the members has to get back the remaining, each member has to struggle again!! not many members may have time and energy to pursue further and in such cases, it would be a straight forward gain to them. We do not intend such thing to happen after having reached this stage.

We shall instruct further.
