Hi all,

There are more than 9 batch of cases against which we had moved upto the Supreme Court of India- consisting of more than 150 cases. Latha and Ganesan are listing the kind of orders against each person. There are orders ranging from 9% to 18% of interest and compensation ranging from no compensation to Rs. 1 lakh. (apart from the execution at risk.)So, we intend to write an individual letter to each of the member in 7-10 days with our approach get the relevant orders executed.

Our Secretary - Sri Nanjundaiah has met the Executive Director - Gangadhareswara and another staff by name Lokesh - to understand their intentions - what and how would they respect the Court orders. They have shared that they would go by the Court Order and in fact they have already calculated the interest to be paid for each person!. It seems the order was a surprise for them; they had calculated these interest at 18% for all the complainants based on their advocate's advise! and they also claimed that they have not spent any money on these Supreme Court process!! Sri Nanjundaiah has asked them whether they would make the required payments on their own or do we need to get executed through a court of law. They have mentioned that they would check with their advocate and come back to us. Our intention is to get the execution done through the court process only to avoid any unnecessary hassles and harassment if it is not so. However, if they prepare Demand Drafts as per the order for each of the person, then we could accept the demand drafts without going through the court. We shall wait for their response and take necessary action with an advise to each one of you.

During the meeting, when Sri Nanjundaiah has asked what would be the status of the 'executing the sale deeds at the risk of the complainant, they have shared that they would be willing to pay 18% interest with Rs. 1 lakh compensation (the lower court's order in the first batch of cases). However, we need to keep our fingers crossed and see whether they would go by what they have told today.

We also intend to have our Annual general meeting sometime between 1st November, 2015 to 15th November, 2015 - on a holiday or on a Sunday - during which time we could interact in person also.

This much for the time being...

How can so much injustice and corruption go Scot free? And this person yogesh is so powerful??? 

Would anyone be prepared to join and sign a letter to the high commission? 

I don't know the first thing about this. But with the Modi administration saying they are getting rid of corruption... Who can we reach out to? 

Arnab Mukherjee would bring publicity to this case!
