Gary,

"/etc/exports" is usually a file on Mac OS X. What is "/etc/exports" for you and why is it a directory?

This is definitely a bug with Vagrant, but I've also never encountered an OS X where that is a dir, and I'm curious what it is, since it is crucial for NFS to work.

Thanks for taking the time to look at this :) 

Haven't a clue why my /etc/exports is a dir... Removed it and touched a blank /etc/exports and vagrant runs perfectly. Thanks again.
