Vagrant Host cannot be pinged

Hi

I have been using Vagrant for sometime. I can successfully ping the guest machine from another machine successfully. The host machine is MacBook Air using VirtualBox. However, when the host machine is in sleeping mode the guest machine can not be pinged.

Apart from keeping the host awake by not making it sleep (taking out the screen saver) is there any other way to fix this? I am not sure whether this is a Vagrant issue or not.

Not sure will be possible.

If host machine is not working, all the task/processes and VMS wont be working.

So you may want to stop that host going to sleep?
