DHCP assigned IPs for the primary interface

Hi,

Apologies if this has been answered before....I have had good hunt but couldn't find a solution.

Is it possible to tell vagrant to assign the primary NAT address via DHCP from virtualbox? It seems its possible to do this outside vagrant.

Hello,

This is how its designed. first nic in virtualbox will be set to NAT on vagrant up.

You can use public or private network to add 2nd nic for other IP assigment.

and using a shell provisioner you can override the default gw if you require send all the traffic over a public network.

Can you share a bit more on whats the issue you are having with the current setup?
