Upgraded to Vagrant 1.8 on OS X 10.10.5 with VM Ware Fusion 7.1.3 and vagrant-vmware-fusion (4.0.2), received the following error when trying to start my VMWare VMs:

$ vagrant up
An unexpected error occurred while loading the Vagrant VMware
provider. Please contact support with the following
error code: '7'.
Vagrant failed to initialize at a very early stage:

The plugins failed to load properly. The error message given is
shown below.

exit

Reverted to 1.7.4, VMs started up without issue.

Hello,

For VMWare plugin, you can contact support at hashicorp.com

however, can you manually update the plugin?

vagrant plugin list
vagrant plugin uninstall <plugin>
vagrant plugin install <plugin>
vagrant plugin list

Thanks!
Alvaro.

Manually upgrading plugin vagrant-vmware-fusion from 4.0.2 to 4.0.5 seems to have cleared up the problem. For some reason, running vagrant plugin update did not update it.
