differences in vmware plugins?

Greets all.

there are several different vmware plugins.  I am having a hard time understanding what the differences are.   Our environment is vcenter on microsoft server 2012R2 and esxi physboxes.

there is:

https://www.vagrantup.com/vmware/  which appears to be only for vmware workstation.  Is this correct? (I have no problem paying for it if it's what I need, so that's not a consideration).

But there is also:

https://github.com/nsidc/vagrant-vsphere

and

https://github.com/frapposelli/vagrant-vcenter

Which look  to be similar?

Anyway, which do I need to be able to work with a vcenter/esxi environment?

Thello.

The first one is for VMWAre Workstation and VMWare Fusion.

The second one works fine for vSphere and seems ESX too.

The third one is done by one of the VMware devs, so should work fine too for ESX.
