send mail from virtual machine ?

Hello,

I try to send I mail from my VM in Vagrant but impossible,

I use the default configuration from the puphpet website.

I add sendmail with this commands :

sudo apt-get install mailutils

sudo apt-get install sendmail

But impossible to send email from command line or PHP script

exemple in terminal

mail -s "test" me[@]email.com

crtl+d

ctrl+d

Maybe not a Vagrant issue

This is not a Vagrant issue, it depends on your base box and what you have installed on it.

Thanks, that's what I thought.

I'll try to install another box from the same site and maybe try the default one of the vagrant's doc (precise32)

the problem really came from distro

I use the package from puphpet website, choose Ubuntu precise but replace the box by the vagrant default one precise32.box

vagrant up

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install mailutils

and everything works !
