Anyway, to recap: I bought a crysis package on steam a while ago. Two out of the 3 crysis-series game work fine, but when I try to play Crysis (not the remastered version) it just won't acept the key. I mean, Steam HAS the key, and it fills it in, but when I want to proceed, it always comes back to the pop-up for keyregistration.
Steam doesn't want to pay me back because it's been too long, and suggested I tried it on my EA account. I tried it both on my old EA acount and orrigin, and while it DOES bring me to a crysis page (so it recognizes it as a crysis key), they give me -6 options/variants of Crysis. I tried them all, and they ALL fail. Steam says I have to ask here, so... here I am.
They say it's a known (to EA) problem with older titles, and it's not the key that is wrong, but EA that doesn't acknowledge that key anymore. And it IS true that I tried it on EA/origin as well, and while I get to a page of different crysis options, none of them work, in the end.
