FIRST Chesapeake has been invited to participate in the HEAV home-school convention Jun 6-8th https://heav.org/convention/. HEAV, for those who are not already familiar, is a huge convention of home-schoolers from around Virginia and the surrounding states.
If you are interested in making the trip to Richmond for one or more days, We would love to have your team take a shift and participate. Load in is available all day the 6th with spectators arriving in the afternoon. The public schedule is June 6 – noon to 8 p.m.June 8 – 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.June 8 – 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
FIRST Chesapeake will be providing a field, game elements from this years Rover Relic game, and a "broken robot corral" of partially assembled robots for participating kids to build with. Teams will need to bring their robots, small tools, controllers, and gracious professionalism.
