"WhatsApp messages on computer without a mobile phone" , install anbox if you r on linux , you can also go for androidx86 install in virtualbox if you want the full experience and you can even install a full os like remix os on either virtualbox, or in dual boot(i recommend you anbox, cause you just need to use whatsapp, you can find many manuals on web on how to install it )

note: whatsapp's multi device is actually a feature in development(may take a lot time) and you can check about it on wabetainfo.com , also a whatsapp account can only be used on one single android device (means , if you install whatsapp on anbox or something else , you wont be able to access the same account on your phone & vice-versa)

I got my new iPhone 13 Pro last month. After setting it up from my old iphone xs max, I tried to launch WhatsApp (I had this installed and used it for years on my iphone XS max) on the iphone 13 pro. When I tapped the icon, nothing happened and it wouldn't launch. I decided to try to delete and reinstall the icon. Now when I try to download WhatsApp from the app store, nothing happens. I tap the "GET" button and nothing happens at all. No idea how to fix.

If you have not tried already, please Restart your iPhone. Does this help to resolve the issue? Can you install the app after a restart? Often this simple step will refresh the apps and software on the device to solve numerous problems you may encounter.

Since I don't have sufficient space on the main Os drive (Drive C). I need to install WhatsApp on another drive. But when I run the setup file, it doesn't ask me where to install the software. It just automatically installs it on "Drive C"! Any solution? Thanks!

To install whatsapp on a separate drive, first install whatsapp on the pc. Then you also install Easeus todo pc trans (from getintopc that is where ypu will get the premium version for free). After installation you can then migrate whatsapp desktop to the separate using Easeus todo Pctrans.Do not start whatsapp from the desktop it wont open rather open or create a shortcut from the migrated whatsapp exe file on the separate drive. Hope this info was helpful.

So yes, there are emulators like Bluestacks that work just fine on Windows 10 and probably 11. But what about Windows 11 Android compatability? I know I'd have to install Google Services. I just can't find anywhere where someone has attempted to install WhatsApp (Android version) onto Windows.

Something else I've heard is that WhatsApp would like to make it impossible to install on anything other than a smartphone. iPads have never been able to run WhatsApp. I've seen Android tablets with WhatsApp in the past, but if they can find a way to prevent it from running on an Android tablet or in emulators, I bet they will do it.

When I visit Google Play and try to install WhatsApp, it tells me that I have to associate a device via my Gmail account. When I'm connected, it's saying that I have to choose another device (because I've already installed it on my Nexus) but it doesn't list me the Virtualbox install as an option.

I was able to install Android on Virtualbox normally but never got Whatsapp working on it, always errors and complications (Tablets are not supported, etc...). Finally I found the only solution that worked for me on a spanish website. NO SIM-card needed! Also beginners will understand!

Your Android version will be in spanish language. With translate.google.com you will be able to select your own language in the settings menu in Android. Whatsapp is already installed, just run it and type a number you can be called with... Follow the steps and there you go.

WhatsApp requires a SIM-Card as stated in a comment already. I know from various xda-developers discussions, that it's easier to do a backup from whatsapp on your phone with titanium backup, and then restore it inside your VM. Beware: the message database is local and messages are not synced across identical accounts.

I would give some thought about trying to use whatsapp this way. It is not intended use so the supplier can cut you off whenever they feel like. If you could elaborate on the use case there might be more solutions for your situation then you might realize.

What it does:
when u launch it, it brings up dialog to enter the phone number or Pick from contacts , you wish to send text to, and then u can chat. found some screenshots online plz note those screenshots are from older version. i dont know how to take screenshots of my phone, but there is a button to choose contacts from the phones address book, which wont share your whole phone book with whatsapp

As you have a registered number with whatsapp etc its able to text with other registered users without it having access to your phone book, they should still be able to text you normally from their end.

For example, if I install a browser in Shelter, but not an email application, but if I click on a link in the browser in Shelter that is meant to start an email, will that fail because the email app is outside of Shelter?

While other free software advocates have a strong desire to impose their values on other people, I do not. I try to flex once in a while. Recently, I joined a book club with members who use WhatsApp to communicate between meetings. In similar situations in the past, when I was part of a group that was looking to add a new communication tool, I strongly suggested we use Signal instead. But this book club was already using WhatsApp. While I was unwilling to install WhatsApp on my phone, I had sufficient determination to find a workaround. I came up with a solution that is far from perfect, but that works for me: install WhatsApp in a virtual phone on my laptop.

Installing WhatsApp in a virtual environment on my laptop feels safer than installing it on my phone. This method still requires proprietary software, but the software has access to significantly less personal information. Most of the time, the application is not running on my laptop, but I have the ability to check in once in a while. That's good enough for me.

Before I got it running in Anbox, I tried some other methods that I did not like. For instance, I thought Android Studio might provide a good emulator, but the user experience felt less than ideal. It took a long time to download and install everything, occupied many gigabytes of space, and required a Google account to login and access WhatsApp through the Play Store in the virtual device. The result was functional, and I got WhatsApp installed, but the biggest problem was the small screen size.

Installing Anbox on Debian and getting WhatsApp installed on Anbox was not straightforward. If you just install Anbox on Debian 10 (Buster) it won't just work. Here are the steps I followed to get this working:

I, too, have found this solution to be "laggy," among other problems. It randomly crashes. Copying and pasting does not work as expected. However, for me this is better than installing WhatsApp. Sorry, I don't know of any better solutions.

i'm try to using Whatsapp on anbox, but after i fill my phone number, and i click next, there's is a pop up to confirm my phone number. and i choose OK,
the problem is theres no page to fill the otp code or either the otp code sent to my number. can you help me ? also i already gave all the pernission that available on settings.
thanks

I have created both Facebook and WhatsApp business account. I have also created app in Facebook and verify my business through Facebook. After that I have started to install "WhatsApp Business API Client" using docker.I have flow bellow link to install docker

When the app installs, there is no option to give it permission to access storage. Also I can't see the Whatsapp files when I go to Files on my owner profile or secondary profile despite copying the file over into the directory on my computer. What do I need to do to get it to work

To find the URLs, just go to the project page, click on the desired release (1.0.0 for this particular case) and in Alternative installation files section, copy the link from Download tar.gz. It should look similar to this: -1.0.0.tar.gz

Now we need to enable to two modules we just installed. Go to admin/modules, then look for Key and WhatsApp modules. Check them both and click on Install (at the very end of the page). You should be getting a message notifying that modules have been enabled.

We already have our key configured so now we can go to admin/config/services/whatsapp and configure said key for our WhatsApp module. Choose your key in the drop-down menu and click on Save configuration.

Help developers test beta versions of their apps and App Clips using the TestFlight app. Download TestFlight on the App Store for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, Watch, and iMessage. Apple Vision Pro will already have TestFlight installed.

Each build is available to test for up to 90 days, starting from the day the developer uploads their build. You can see how many days you have left for testing under the app name in TestFlight. TestFlight will notify you each time a new build is available and will include instructions on what you need to test. Alternatively, with TestFlight 3 or later, you can turn on automatic updates to have the latest beta builds install automatically.

When the testing period is over, you'll no longer be able to open the beta build. To install the App Store version of the app, download or purchase the app from the App Store. In-app purchases are free only during beta testing, and any in-app purchases made during testing will not carry over to App Store versions.
