Jai Swaminarayan,

Gadhada Pratham 39: Savikalp Nirvikalp Sthitivadanu/ Those possesing
the savkalp or nirvikalp state.

Date: Maha sud 3 1876 Where:
Dadakhachar's Darbar Clothes: All White with
Yellow Flowers

- Maharaj asks a vedanti how he can believe that only Brahma exists?
The vedanti could not answer.

- Maharaj then said: One who stands on top of Mount Meru he sees
everything distinctly. Therefore, he has reached Savikalp or believing
that the jiva, ishwar, maya, and brahma as separate entities. However,
one who stands on Mount Lolak sees everything in the vicinity. This
can be compared to achieveing nirvikalp state or believing that the
jiva, ishwar, maya, and bhrama are one entity.

- then he describes that savikalp is staya and is described in the
vedas. and that the nirvikalp is asatya but it has a big influence.

- The vedanti at the end realized his mistake and became Maharaj's
devotee

Application: understand the difference between savikalp and nirvikalp.
