Maharaj: One should introspect on how much worldly desire they
have and how much desire for God they have. Even though the mind wants
to think about the world constantly, it should be thinking about God,
His actions, and His greatness. Constantly think of God. One should
remember the actions, by remembering the village, how puja was offered
to Maharaj, and how the discourses took place. One's mind should be
free of worldly desires, because they would cause great harm to the
jiva, because those are the thoughts and desires that come up when one
is about to die. Always have a mind with out any worldly desires. A
householder should do worldly activities physically, but not mentally,
they should remain a renunciant. One should tell their impure thoughts
to someone that won't be effected by them and will denounce them.
Maharaj continued: Having all the indriyas attached to God is the
characteristics of an Ekadahi. A true renunciant is one who acts like
atma and worships God.
Then Mota Atmanand Swami asked: What are the characteristics of
jivatma?
Maharaj answered: It is the speaker of the body, and it knows all and
different from others. It is also the listener of the body.
Application: have no world thoughts and remeber god and his actions
