Jai Swaminaryan,

Gadhada Pratham 41: Eko ham bahu syam

Date: Maha sud 5 1876 Where:
Dadakhachar's Darbar Clothes: All white and yellow
flowers

- Then Nrushianand Swami aks: Many vedantis belive the shlok " Eko ham
bahu syam prajayeya" to mean that God takes form of all jivas and
ishawar by his own will, but this is not true. So please explain the
meaning.

- Then Maharaj answers: that in the Vedstuti it sates, "Svakruta-
vichitra-yonishu vishanniva hetutayaTaratamatash-chakassyanalavat
svakrutanukrutihi" Then he says that this means that Purroshottam
Bhagwan enters the various forms as their cause and antaryami, and
inspires them at a greater or lesser degree.

- Then Maharaj explains: that purroshottam inspires Akshar and then
Prakruti and then pradhan-purush and then mahattatva and then the
three ahamkars and then bhuts, vishays, indriyas, and antahkarans and
then Virat-purush and then Brhama and then marichi an prajapatis and
then kashyap and prajapatis and the indra, dieties, demons, and all
mobile and imobile creations were produced and each of them was given
inspiration but a little less then the one before each.

- hence, the purroshottam enters all but does not take the form of the
jivas and ishwars at his own will.

Application: Understand Purroshottam as supreme.
