- Following all reasonable instructions as requested by the management.
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools andpower tools.
-Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
-Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
-Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.

-Install ground leads and connect power cables to equipment, such as motors.

Considerable knowledge of the tools, equipment, materials, methods, and practices of several of the mechanical or related trades.
Considerable knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions of the trades.
Considerable knowledge of shop techniques and procedures, and of the types, nomenclatures, and uses of materials, equipment, and tools of the shop or laboratory of assignment.
Knowledge of the theory and principles of the subject field.
Ability to conduct limited design, plan, and lay out construction, fabrication or assembly jobs, and to carry through to completion.
