Subject: Burkeville Lodge Labor Day Weekend
It saddens me to have to write this e-Mail to all of you but it needs to be said.
Several people who attended the Labor Day Weekend at the Burkeville Lodge did so with head colds. As a result, several other people left with said head colds. Because we have some seniors with Autoimmune Diseases and to all others that do not want to get sick, we would ask as a courtesy to "ALL" that you not come to Burkeville Lodge with any signs of sickness including head colds even if you have to cancel at the last minute, so be it!
If you are found with any signs of sickness you will be asked to return home!

Because there were a couple of people who came to the lodge for the Labor day weekend sick, John sent this message to everyone. He said if you are sick, please do not come to the lodge. There are seniors and other people with health issues who do not need to be exposed to illness. There were several people who got sick from those who came sick.
Sorry you didn’t get the hold message.
Also the VSDB Alumni are having a weekend at the lodge Oct. 17, 18, and 19.
We are honoring Pat Trice, Senator Hangar and John Bell.
The cost of the weekend is $100.00 (one hundred dollars).
Please let me know if you plan to attend by Oct. 1.
