Project Description
It's an exciting time for our clients Product Development team. They are at the center of Geospatial intelligence resolution! They are looking into the future and expanding their image product lines to a variety of geospatial value added services and products to their existing and potential customers. They are shifting their development and testing culture to Agile to respond to market faster, cheaper and better. Celerity is seeking out team-oriented individuals who will work with a group of smart and dynamic agile team members and enjoy delivering technology that amazes and delights our customers and are ready to join us in the journey as we take our PD organization to the next level. Day to day activities include
Coordinate with System Engineering, Architects and other departments and vendors to prioritize requirements and development activities. Work with other scrum members to architect, design and develop systems and products. Consult with customer concerning requirements and/or maintenance of software system. Review and document system requirements and modifications to support Data Process System/Image Product Generation, workflow services, COTS implementations. Determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Prepare detailed design specifications from which solutions can be built.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
Ten years or more of related experience is required. Google Map API, Google Fusion Tables/Google Fusion Tables API, MapGL is preferred Experience in Agile/Scrum process Experience or familiar with in agile tools i.e. Rally Experience in running enterprise-level application development Proficient in Java, JavaScript Python, HTML, DHTML, Ajax, or C#, .NET Familiarity with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), SOAP, REST services, workflow management, ESB Extensive knowledge with KML, OGC standards (WMS, WFS, WCS, WMTS, WPS …) API for Silverlight and Adobe Flex is a plus Geospatial knowledge and experience is a plus
Additional Qualifications:
Great written and spoken communication skills A Bachelors (BS) in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent field is preferred. Interact well with people at all levels. Great leadership and management skills; Experience managing software development teams. US citizen required; be able to obtain DoD clearance
