At the April meeting, Gene Barlow of User Group Relations (UGR) will
discuss how to efficiently organize data on hard drives, as well as
strategies to backup data on PC systems. With the large terabyte hard
drives we have today, the need to set up & organize your hard drive is
essential in order to take advantage of the additional space. By
having and implementing a well thought-out Backup and Recovery Plan,
you can restore your system again fairly quickly after a hard drive
failure or virus/malware attack, instead of days or weeks. The
presentation will feature Acronis Disk Director 11 Home and Acronis
True Image Home 2011 software, which will be available for purchase by
user group members at a significant discount from UGR. WAC member Gabe
Goldberg will also lead a Learn 30 tutorial session about favorite
utilities for Microsoft Windows PC systems.
