Hi, me again - on a roll asking lots of questions.

We have a requirement to utilise some fonts within our application which are installed to our devices - we could look to include them but that requires getting the Windows team to get involved and makes it hard whenever we want to add more.

So, we want to load fonts on application startup and register them so the application can use them.

I can successfully load the fonts but they aren't visible as the font registration process happens too early in the startup sequence.

CgWinServer>>initializeFonts

We have changed the method loading our fonts first - this of course works but means we deviate from the base product and have to jiggle each time we upgrade the platform.

Is there a way to load a font and register it during our own application startup?

Hi Niel,

I didn't test this, but maybe a pre-startup code in the abt.cnf may help?

Regards,
