Hello
is someone using VAST Platform / Smalltalk to publish messages to a RabbitMQ broker?
Probably using a C/C++ client library and a Smalltalk wrapper to call these functions?
Thanks!

With the currently available libraries for VAST you may consider MQTT v3 to work in some way with RabbitMQ. So the base support for MQTT available in VAST gives you a first step into the RMQ world.

Due to restrictions to MQTT v3 you will not have access to header lines in the messages of RMQ, so you must consider this when defining the way you want to use RMQ - as you would have to if using a browser app with MQTT v3.

02/24 a new version of RMQ has been published, where you may have the option of MQTT v5 support. This should be a better way, but I did not test VAST with that.

With the current libraries available, you can consider MQTT v3. That works, but limits you in the design of your usage of RabbitMQ.
With the latest Release of RabbitMQ you might bei able to use MQTT v5.
