With the currently available libraries for VAST you may consider MQTT v3 to work in some way with RabbitMQ. So the base support for MQTT available in VAST gives you a first step into the RMQ world.
Due to restrictions to MQTT v3 you will not have access to header lines in the messages of RMQ, so you must consider this when defining the way you want to use RMQ - as you would have to if using a browser app with MQTT v3.
02/24 a new version of RMQ has been published, where you may have the option of MQTT v5 support. This should be a better way, but I did not test VAST with that.
