Greetings, Moto Guzzi friends. I hope this email finds you well. It’s time for Noevember’s Central Virginia Moto Guzzi Lunch. Ron Komoroski used to like to hold the lunches in Buchanan, which from his house (as from mine) involved a beautiful ride up through the Peaks of Otter and down twisty Route 43. Buchanon is a quaint little town on the river James (as they called in in times past). Unfortunately, the restaurants in Buchanan don’t seem to stay in business very long. There’s a new one in town now, discovered by Laura, who ate there with friends and recommended it highly, so we’re going to try it out. Once the roads get icy, I follow Ron’s example of avoiding scheduling the lunches across the mountains, so this may be the last time we head west until Spring.
Here are the vitals:
Date&time: Saturday, 11/15/2025, at 1:30pm

There’s a little twist to this week’s lunch: Foot of the Mountain Café can’t seat us until 1:30, so we’ll be meeting an hour later than usual. If you show up early, you can sit at the bar and have a cup of hot tea to warm up, but the main dining area is being used for a party until 1:00.
If you need to contact me, my email address is
mjon...@yahoo.com. My cellphone is
(434)-333-8333, but you know how much that’s worth. As always, all brands are welcome, as are non-motorcycle modes of transit. Here on the eastern side of the mountains we still have a lot of fall colors. If the weather cooperates, I think we’ll have a beautiful ride to Buchanan!
Ride safe,
Mike
