Which compiler is used during android builds?

I've managed to get android builds to work, but this is just by setting up the environment variable to point at my NDK folder.  In the NDK folder I see a number of toolchains, and I'm curious which is being used.  I can try to dig into this on my own, but I figured if someone already knew or could direct my digging it could speed my work.
