I build v4l4j from source on Ubuntu 12.04
the connected Logitech C920 then run ant deviceinfo

initially got unhandled format H.264 message and after more information on shell jvm crashed.

uninstalled v4l4j

Built debug version and run ant device info

jvm crashed again

output is attached as text file

plugged in a usb microscope (simple uvc device with 640X480 and 320X240)

that works perfectly.

then run ant test-gui works ok able to see video in gui

Now plugin Logitech C920
and run ant tes-gui

video comes through but when test gui window is closed jvm crashes
seems that there is a failure while releasing memory and this happens specifically
while handling logitech c920

Actually, this bug should be fixed in trunk. Can you also try and let me know.
Thanks
Gilles

dump info worked without crashing the jvm
but got this message

looks like it is skipping H.264 - support for that format is quite sketchy, i understand...
