v4l4j integration with JMF/FMJ ?

And I have read that back in 2009 (http://groups.google.com/group/
v4l4j/browse_thread/thread/863b367bef972885/db28b7faf531cda0?
q=#db28b7faf531cda0), Gilles Gigan was working on a patch to add JMF
wrapper to v4l4j and that JavaNut was trying to fix the
NullPointerException thrown by Alexandra's code.

I'm interested in knowing what happened with that? Any progress?
