I emailed Corbin the other day to ask some questions about the 2
different seats offered for the DL1000. I recieved a response that
said they were in the process of retooling for the 2007. I called and
found out there will not be a seat until they get a 2007 to build on.
I asked if someone loaned a bike would they get a free seat. I was
told YES they would. So, if you are near Corbin and will give up your
bike for a couple of weeks, then you can get a free seat. Here is a
copy/Paste of the email response.

Hi Dwayne,
Thanks for writing. Right now we're looking into a retooling of our
existing DL650/1000 seats due to the new 2007 models having some
different parts that are preventing our seats from fitting properly.
With these seats, the Dual Sport seems to be the more comfortable of
the two as it's more engineered for two riders to sit
comfortably. There is a little possibility of your passenger sliding
a bit forward but we can add a little foam to the nose of the
passenger section, keeping your wife in place and keeping the seat
looking good.
Driver-wise, our seats will move you back no more than 1/2" - we can
modify the seating position to fit you best.
I hope this info helps - if you have any other questions feel free to
give us a call at 800-223-4332 or 800-538-7035 (or 831-634-1100
outside the US) and one of our reps will be ready to assist
you. Thanks for your interest with Corbin, it's much appreciated.
Regards,
Michael Alva

I got the vinyl V-Strom Tribe graphics yesterday and will bring them
tomorrow night. The shop could not match up the V-Strom font but got
close and I selected a different font style for the word TRIBE to help
it stand out. I got 5 in black and 5 in maroon (dark red). They
should fit nicely between the windshield brackets or where ever you
want to put'em.
See everyone Friday night.
