Tribal Meeting

I am officially calling a Tribal meeting for Thursday, May 31st at 7
p.m. (or Friday, June 1st at 7 p.m.) which ever works best for
everyone. The meeting is mandatory (which means your ass better be
there to join in on the fun damn it). The meeting (hangin' out time)
is for us to discuss some road trips that a few of us are planning;
also to share our stories of our most recent four day adventure up in
the mountains, the V Strom Rally (and boy do we have some stories to
tell).

We can meet at my house or we can find a restuarant, pub or strip
club. Doesn't matter to me. I'm thinking we will only be out 2 or 3
hours. If we meet at my house, wives, girl friends, etc are welcome
but can't join our meeting (they'll have to stay inside and Renee 'my
wife" will entertain them, while we tribe members talk outside).
Again my house is open for the meeting but I'd vote for a nice pub
somewhere centrally located in Raleigh (hint for suggestions).

Don't post a reply saying "I can't make cause I gotta work." if you
do, my reply will be "Quit your job" and don't even think about
posting some crap like "my wife already has plans for me." If you do,
I'll say "get a divorce." LOL.... Where there is a will, there is a
way! We all need to get together and hang out a bit. Bob, Mark and
myself had a great time up in the mountains together. We put over
1,250 miles on our Stroms over 4 days. Two of the days were hard,
fast, exciting and heart pumping miles; roughly 600 miles on twisty
roads (running constantly at over 7500 rpms) that you can't even begin
to imagine "you had to be there) and we tammed the dragon (Deal's
Gap). Like Bob said; those types of trips are the reason we bought the
Stroms. Mark, aka, "The Bunny Slayer" did an awesome job of planning
our routes and leading our group up there, while there and back. Our
Tribe is small right now, but BIG on adventure.

Post your vote for either Thursday or Friday (next week, this way you
have plenty of time to make sure you can be there), also suggest a
meeting place or we can just meet at my house.

Reply by Monday (Memorial Day) please.

Friday would be much better for me. My job has me in Lumberton for
the next ?? months shacked up in a motel. Let me know what you think
about Friday. How about the Hibernian in Cary or the one on Glenwood
in Raleigh. They have kick ass food and cold beer. :-)

Friday is good for me; I'm sure I can find the Hiberian in either Cary
or Raleigh. That's a shame that you'll be living out of a hotel for a
period of time. Its alright for a few days or week or so, but nothing
beats the comforts of home.

Come on gang, lets here from some other Tribe members who can come out
on Friday for a few hours. It will be fun.

Which one is better, Cary or Raleigh? Meeting time is Friday at 7:00

My wife and I would like to attend. Friday works for us. I have no
Idea were this place is in Cary. I know very little about Cary. Do
they have a web site?

Hello all! I made it back late Friday afternoon. 385 miles in 7.5
hours ended my mountain excursion. I am glad to report that there were
no other "incidents" and the vacation was great! You have to ride the
Great Smokey Mountain National Park. Absolutely breath taking! Friday
the 1st will work for me as of right now. I have a Maryland trip to
take but as of now it is set for the second weekend in June. I do not
know where this place is but I am sure I will find it. Let me know
which location.
