Fall Mountains Trip

I know we have the V-Strom rally in May up in the mountains but we
need to put together a weekend trip up to Bedford, VA during either
September or October. I've visited/rode the Blue Ridge Parkway up in
the Bedford, VA area and let me tell you it is absolutely beautiful.
This might be a trip where we can take our spouses, fiances,
girfriends, etc. A good place to stay is at the Peaks of Otter Lodge
(google it). The lodge offers a great restuarant, clean & comfortable
rooms with great views and its right on the BRP. Bedford is only a
couple of hours from Raleigh and makes a good weekend (Saturday and
Sunday) trip. During fall reservations at the Peaks of Otter lodge
are hard to get and if this is something we as a group would like to
do we need to plan it NOW and make reservations. Late September or
early October is a great time of year to go there.
Anyone else interested? If so lets pick a date and set it up.
