We seek a J2ME Mobile Application Developer who will work with the rest of the team to develop, test and port mobile applications.
Title: J2ME Mobile Application Developer
Role: Mobile Application Development
Location: Lagos
Job Description
· Designing, developing, testing, debugging, documenting and supporting J2ME mobile applications.
· Port J2ME application to a variety of devices across manufacturers.
· Conduct user acceptance testing to ensure applications meet user requirements.
Candidate Profile
Knowledge:
· Experience in programming for feature phones especially Nokia S40 and S60 phones.
· Working experience on LWUIT Development, Location Based Services and Messaging Services
· Knowledge of Client/Server mobile application development.
Skills:
· 2 or 3 years Mobile Java development experience.
· Strong J2ME programming skills.
· Solid understanding of object-oriented development principles
· Experience in complex mobile software application development
· Understanding of HTTP(s), XML, REST, JSON, SOAP
Disposition:
· Flexible, adaptable and ability to work in a dynamic environment
· Attention to detail
· Good debugging and analytical skills
· Team player with good communication skills
