Lexer is on a quest to rid companies of ugly enterprise tools and data.

We’re well on our way through this journey, but this isn’t a simple mission.

So we’re looking for Level 30 User Experience, Interface and Data Visualisation skills to work closely with the developers and the broader team and help us slay these ugly dragons.

At Lexer, we run a very rapid, agile approach to product design and development – shipping changes to our dashboards and apps every 3 weeks. This allows us to quickly test and learn from some of Australia’s most recognisable brands.

Your skill and passion in user-first design, journey modelling, and data visualisation, alongside your intense attention to detail, colour and pixel perfection will be a welcomed weapon against the Salesforces, Adobes and Microsofts of the world.

You’ve lost many hours browsing the examples on D3js.org, and your favourite books include The Visual Display of Quantitative Information, the NASA Graphics Standards Manual, and Information is Beautiful.

Does this sound like you? Introduce yourself in 140 characters or less at @camplexer or he...@lexer.io. We’d love to hear your story over a coffee from our cafe-grade coffee machine or even something stronger – after all, we do brew our own beer!

USE YOUR SKILLS TO…

  • Listen to customer feedback and turn it into product ideas, changes and tweaks
  • Increase the usability and communication of complex data
  • Rapidly prototype, implement and deploy design and usability changes
  • Refactor existing and introduce new features in our cross-device, responsive web application
  • Help define the future product strategy and goals

BE SUCCESSFUL BY…

  • Being skilled in the entire process of product design through deployment
  • Having a warrior spirit of pixel-perfectionness and quality assurance
  • Taking pride in your ability to turn requirements into effective ideas and designs
  • Having a clinically insane obsession with data
  • Getting your hands dirty with CSS, HTML and Javascript

Look forward to chatting,
Az.
