Hi Everyone
Here is a job ad for an agile UXer.
“We have a major piece of work to redesign our Member Web App used by superannuation members to manage their profiles/account and we recently launched a new web app for our financial advisers – there’s a bit going on and we like to keep things fresh, giving our UI valuable attention in pursuit of continuous improvements”
This is a permanent position in Melbourne:
Our UX team is relatively new and it's distributed between Sydney (1), Hobart (2) and Melbourne (2). You would be coming in at a stage where you can help influence how UX evolves in the organisation. If you're into big picture thinking, this would be a great opportunity. Our UX'ers are embedded in the dev teams so you feel connected to the work. We are a true agile environment (unlike big many companies). Our teams are self-organising. It is not hierarchical here and there is no rigid process – everyone is encouraged to lead or at least voice their ideas in cross-functional teams with an open source culture using the latest and greatest tech.
Attributes we’re looking for:
Some of the tools you will be given:
There is a genuine focus and space to innovate with internal “tools down / new tools up” sessions, set aside to come up with better solutions and new initiatives that are then deployed through award (on merit) as part of the innovation wing. The flat structure is backed up. Everyone can be a leader in this environment, provided they can convey a clear message – confidence with a good dose of humility is key to being a team-fit here, as is being self-sufficient, capable and organised off-your-own-back… no slackers :)
If this sounds like someone you know, I'd be most thankful if you could please email them / email me :)
