User experience is not only about interfaces that we display on tablets or phones. User experience is also about the physical objects that we use in our day to day life, like the dashboard of our car or the thermostat in the lounge room.

Today digital interfaces and physical products are coming together. However user experience practitioners and industrial designers are different, but they share the same values; they deeply care about the users.
For a future Internet of Things we need to go beyond the user experience and also put a high consideration on the people that can take care of the physical product.

This talk will explore how to better engage industrial designer with user experience practitioners.

When: Thursday, 17 July 2014.
Come down to the bar when you finish work.
We'll run the video from about 6:30 PM
